The foundation of the company exists in three successful real estate organizations:

  • Roth Realty, founded in 1958
  • Big Hill Realty, established in 1968
  • McAfee, Schiller & Ryan, created in 1975
  • 1981, Big Hill merges with McAfee, Schiller & Ryan
  • March, 1998: Big Hill joins the Better Homes & Garden network of real estate firms providing superior broker-to-broker relocation services, national advertising and advanced agent training programs
  • June, 1998: GMAC (General Motors Acceptance Corporation) purchases Better Homes & Gardens
  • March, 2000: Big Hill Realty merges with Roth Realty, forming one of the largest, most influential real estate companies in the Miami Valley. The new entity becomes Big Hill GMAC Real Estate.
  • August, 2000: Dawson Realty, the oldest real estate brokerage in Greene County, joins the Big Hill GMAC Real Estate team
  • December, 2002: First Realty Group - Eaton, OH, the most active Real Estate company in Eaton and Preble county joins the Big Hill GMAC Real Estate team
  • August 2003: First Realty Group  Richmond, IN is acquired. They become First Realty Group GMAC Real Estate  Richmond.
  • June 2004: Big Hill GMAC Real Estate purchased Capital Real Estate and USA Realty Group, Richmond, Indiana
  • September 2004: Big Hill GMAC Real Estate Purchased Complete Realty, Wilmington, Ohio
  • October 2004: Big Hill GMAC Real Estate purchased Bob Nelson GMAC, Greenville, Ohio
  • November 2004: Big Hill GMAC Real Estate purchased Morrison Real Estate, Middletown, Ohio
  • July 2005: Big Hill GMAC Real Estate purchased Royal Crest Realty Inc., Enon, Ohio
